Welcome to our X-Europe startup interview series. We have virtually sat down with a number of our founders from past cohorts to hear all about their solutions, vision for the future, and what made them tick during our X Europe programme. So whether you are a deep tech founder looking for startup support, an eagle-eyed investor, or simply interested in the possibilities that technology can bring to society, then we welcome you to take a read. Please meet Agroninja, a mobile application you can use to weigh your cattle from a safe distance.
Can you briefly explain what your solution is all about? What’s unique about it?
We have made a mobile application you can use to weigh your cattle from a safe distance (3-6 meters), so the weighing process will become stressless, quick, and cost-effective. We are able to collect all the measurements in our cloud-based farm management system, so you can monitor and manage your heard easily on your desktop or your smartphone. In addition, we've developed stationary measuring solutions as well.
How can your solution impact the AgriTech sector?
We make it easy to collect essential data about cattle and convert these data to valuable information. It gives the opportunity for more objective and data-driven decision-making, and adds to the welfare of the animals, as we can indicate and predict several problems in time.
What’s the biggest milestone your startup has achieved so far, and what challenges are you still trying to overcome?
We have already collected more than 200 users with our mobile-based solution, and we are currently working on the further development of these functions. Our biggest challenge is to reach our potential customers in these difficult times and scale up our sales.
How has X-Europe helped you during the past few months?
X-Europe is a great opportunity for early-stage startups. As we are in a later stage, the program was good feedback for us, what have we done well, and what could be better. These indications can help to fine-tune our further operation.
After joining and benefiting from the services X-Europe has provided/will provide to you, what next steps do you envision?
We hope that we can integrate all the hints and tips we've received during these past months. Our next step is to finish our latest developments and strengthen sales partnerships.
What advice would you give to an entrepreneur trying to pave his/her way in the AgriTech sector?
To start your sales as soon as you can, and let some of your customers see your product as soon as possible, to collect valuable feedback. Manage and integrate these feedbacks and requests
What’s unique about the X-Europe programme?
The programme collects a wide variety of companies from Europe, in different lifecycles, with different attitude and difficulties.
